1939 -  David Doig, Gorsebrook, Halifax, wins first Junior title.  Played as part of the Nova Scotia Amateur.
1947 – Peter Doig, Ashburn, wins second Junior.  First brother combination to win the title.
1950 – Robert “Lugs” Rae, Abercrombie becomes first golfer to win back to back Junior titles. 
1952 – Lea Windsor, Ashburn, wins Nova Scotia, Maritime and Canadian Junior titles.
1953 –  First separate Junior championship played at Bluenose Golf Club, Lunenburg.  Match play won by Pau           “Trigger” Tregunno, Ashburn.
1955
– Stroke play introduced.  Won by Alan Doane, Ashburn.
1959 –  First Junior team selected at Abercrombie Golf & Country Club, New Glasgow.  Terry Burns, Chester;             Don Green, Ashburn (Champion); Harold “Bus” Ogden, Amherst; Brian Matheson, Ken-Wo.  The team   finished 4th at the Canadian Junior.
1971 –  John T. MacLeod, Jr., Abercrombie becomes the first Junior to win the NS Amateur.  The Amateur was            played at Paragon.
1972 –  Dean Woodman, Avon Valley, aged 13 scores the first ever ace at the Junior competition, Aced #6.             Truro, 145 yards.
1973 –  Nick Boyd, Ken-Wo, second round at Paragon, shot 71(-1), the first ever sub-par round posted in competition.
1976 -  David Delaunt, Ashburn, becomes the first left handed golfer to capture the Junior title.  The event was played at Ken-Wo.
1980 –  Gordie Smith, Brightwood, wins Junior.  His father, Lorne won the same title in 1948.  The only father and son to win Junior title.  (They also won Amateur titles)
1981 –  Gordie Smith, Brightwood, playing at Lingan, becomes the youngest golfer to capture the NS Amateur. He would go on to win the NS Junior at Abercrombie, becoming the only individual to capture both titles ]    in the same year.
1981 – Kevin Dugas, Clare, wins Canadian Junior Golf Championship.
1982 – Murray and Norman McCrossin, Brightwood, become first brother combination to make the team.
1987 – Aaron Callaghan, Abercrombie wins Junior title.  Along with his brother, Dale (1983), they become the second brother combination to win the Junior Championship.
1991 –  Best ever showing by a Nova Scotia Junior team.  Three way tie for first.  Lost in play-off and were declared runner-up.  Fourth team to finish second.
1999 – Daniel Morley, Eden, becomes only golfer to win three consecutive Junior titles.
2007 – Andrew Wallace, Brightwood, becomes the eighth golfer to win back to back Junior titles.
2007 – James & Sam Holland, Ken-Wo become the second brother combination to qualify for the same NS Junior team.
2008 – The first time Eden has hosted the Nova Scotia Junior Championships.

General:

Fifty (50) individuals from twenty-one (21) clubs have won the Junior title.
Brightwood has produced the most Junior Champions - - - thirteen (13)

Thirty (30) Clubs have produced the one hundred and forty (140) golfers who have filled the one hundred and ninety six (196) team positions between 1959-2007.
